Architectural Approval

In general, the following three circumstances do NOT need Board approval: (1) any repair or replacement which uses substantially the same color, style, and material as the existing feature, (2) rooftop solar panel installation, or (3) removal of dead trees on your own lot.

Any other substantial modifications to your home or lot will require approval from the Architectural Approval Committee of the Board of Directors. In such cases, please be prepared to submit some form of written plans in advance.

If you need to add attachments, please use one of our email addresses (given on the last Contact page) for direct contact.

If you (1) have a question about which architectural changes require approval from the Board, or (2) wish to notify the Board about your plans to modify your home, or (3) wish to seek approval for major architectural modifications to your home or lot, please use the “Architectural Approval” form below. Any message sent via this form will go to “architecture@heritagewoodsassociation.info”.
